Study library and reading room management softwareSeats, shifts and fees — and books that add up at the end of the day.
Every study-library app helps you collect money. Aasanix tells you when some of it did not arrive — how much, on which day, and on whose shift.
No card. Free for 7 days, then ₹299 a month. Your data comes back out whenever you want it, in a format anyone can read. Or look around a library that is already running — no sign-up at all.
Morning · 06:00–12:00
How full a seat looks is how much of its day is sold. The three ticks underneath are morning, afternoon and evening.
A4 is outlined because that reader’s payment is overdue.
The hard part was never the seat map.
It is the ₹500 that is not in the drawer on Tuesday evening. The discount somebody gave without asking. The student who left twelve days into a month and wants their money back. The receipt that was cancelled and reissued, and whether the term moved with it.
Those are the things that cost an owner money and sleep, and they are the things this was built around.
Four things the others do not do
Not a longer feature list — a different one. Everything below works today.
Count the drawer, per shift
Open the till with whatever float is in it, take money all evening, count it at the end. If it is short, you know it was short on Sunita's evening — not that it was short 'on Tuesday'.
“The till was ₹500 short today” is an accusation nobody can act on. “It was short on Sunita's evening, and her three previous closes were exact” is a conversation.
Approve from where you are
A librarian gives a discount above their limit. Instead of refusing, the counter asks for an owner's PIN — and the record carries both names, permanently.
The alternative is a librarian walking to an office, or an owner handing out their own login. One wastes a morning; the other ends your audit trail.
Refunds that work out themselves
A student leaves twelve days into a thirty-day term. You see what they paid, how many days they used, what you keep and what goes back — before you commit to a number.
They are standing in front of you and the question they will ask is “why that much?”. A single figure cannot answer it.
Cancel, never delete
A cancelled receipt stays in the register, struck through, naming who took the money and who cancelled it — and offers to take back the days it bought.
A register that hides its corrections is not a record of what happened. It is a record of what somebody wanted to have happened.
And everything you would expect
None of this is a reason to choose one product over another. It is a reason to rule one out, so here it is.
- Floors, zones and a seat map you draw yourself
- Morning, afternoon and evening shifts on the same seat
- AC, cabin and window seats priced differently
- Readers, terms, renewals and a dues register
- Fees, part payments, discounts and change
- Printed receipts on an 80mm thermal roll
- Attendance by QR at a door tablet, or marked at the counter
- Expenses and what is left at the end of the month
- An activity log nobody can edit — not even you

WhatsApp reminders and biometric devices are being built and are deliberately not listed above — you should pay for what works today, not for a roadmap.
Three things we will not do to you
Your records are yours
Download everything you have, any time, in a documented format your accountant or another product can read. It keeps working if your subscription lapses, or if you cancel.
The counter never stops mid-day
If a payment to us fails, nothing changes until your library's next midnight — never at eleven in the morning with a student at the desk. Then seven more days before anything pauses.
You can see when we look
If our support signs in to help, a banner sits on every one of your screens with the person's name and their reason, and you can end it yourself without asking us. You can also switch that off entirely.
